Getting Started

What is crrd.lol?

crrd.lol lets you generate a shareable Discord profile card in seconds. You log in with Discord, customize how your card looks, and drop the link anywhere you want to be seen — your Discord bio, a server, your socials, wherever.

It's completely free to use — no premium tiers, no hidden fees, no cap. Every card comes with your avatar, username, join date, and bio out of the box, and you can layer on top of that with colors, badges, music, and more.

Once you're logged in, your card lives permanently at crrd.lol/yourdiscordusername — that's your link to flex.
Discord Login

Logging In

crrd.lol uses Discord's official OAuth2 flow for login — there's no separate account to create and no password to remember.

  1. Head to crrd.lol and hit Login with Discord.
  2. Discord will ask you to authorize crrd.lol — review the permissions and confirm.
  3. You'll be redirected back and your card gets generated automatically using your Discord username, avatar, and join date.

If you ever rename yourself on Discord, your crrd.lol profile link auto-syncs to your new username the next time you log in — no need to manually update anything.

We never see or store your Discord password — only the limited profile info Discord shares through OAuth.
Customization

Customizing Your Card

Head to Card Settings after logging in to make your card actually yours. Everything updates live as you make changes — see the Live Preview guide for more on that.

Things you can customize:

  • Accent color — sets the highlight color across your whole card.
  • Bio — your own custom text, shown front and center.
  • Background — paste an image URL or upload a file directly.
  • Card layout — drag and drop to reorder your Bio, Discord Status, and Social Links sections. See Card Layouts.
  • Background music — a YouTube track that plays when someone opens your card. See Background Music.
  • Pinned Spotify track — embed a track right on your card.

Changes are saved per-section, so you can update your bio without touching your layout, and vice versa.

Sharing

Sharing Your Card

Your card lives at a permanent link: crrd.lol/yourdiscordusername. Drop it in your Discord bio, your server's about section, your socials — anywhere people will see it.

From the Settings page, you can hit Copy Profile Link to grab your exact card URL with one click, instead of typing it out manually.

Your card link updates automatically if you rename your Discord username, so old shared links won't go stale.
General

Account Support

Your crrd.lol account is tied directly to your Discord account — there's nothing separate to manage on our end besides your card settings.

Deleting your account & data: go to your Dashboard and hit Delete Account. Your card and all saved data — bio, layout, music, badges, everything — gets wiped immediately. There's no recovery window, so make sure that's really what you want before confirming.

Banned or restricted accounts: if your card shows a ban notice or you've been logged out unexpectedly, your account may have been flagged for a Terms of Service violation. Reach out through Contact Us if you think this was a mistake.

General

Troubleshooting

My layout order isn't saving / shows the old order publicly
Make sure you hit save after dragging sections around in the layout builder. If it still looks off on your public card after saving, try a hard refresh — cached card pages can lag a moment behind a fresh save.
My background image isn't showing up
Double check the image URL is a direct link to the image file (not a webpage), or use the Upload File option instead of pasting a link. CDN links without a file extension are supported too.
My background music won't play
Make sure the music toggle is enabled in Settings and that you've entered a valid YouTube video. On iOS, browsers block autoplay with sound by default — tap your card once to start playback.
My username changed on Discord but my card link is broken
Log out and back in — your card slug auto-syncs to your current Discord username on login.

Badges show up on your card to mark your role on the platform or in the community. They're assigned automatically based on your role — you can't buy or self-assign them.

Profile Assets

Your avatar pulls automatically from your Discord profile picture, so it always stays in sync — update it on Discord and it updates on your card too.

For your card background, you've got two options in Settings:

  • Paste an image URL — works with most direct image links and CDN URLs, even ones without a file extension.
  • Upload a file directly — drag and drop or select an image from your device.

Only one source is active at a time — switching from a URL to an upload (or back) clears the previous one automatically so there's no conflict.

Background Music iOS fix live

You can attach a YouTube track to your card that plays in the background when someone visits your profile.

  1. Go to Settings and find the Background Music section.
  2. Paste in the YouTube link or video ID for the track you want.
  3. Toggle music on, then save.

You can also pin a Spotify track separately as an embedded player on your card, if you'd rather show off what you're listening to than autoplay it.

On iOS, Safari blocks autoplay with sound by default. If music doesn't start automatically, just tap the card once — that's a browser restriction, not a bug on our end.

Gallery & Leaderboard

The Gallery is where you can browse featured and recently active cards from real users across the community.

Banned accounts still show up in the gallery for transparency, but their card preview is blurred and grayscaled with a clear BANNED label, so the content stays unreadable while the entry itself isn't hidden.

Card Layouts

The layout builder lets you control the order your card's sections appear in — no code, just drag and drop.

  1. Open Settings and scroll to the Layout section.
  2. Drag Bio, Discord Status, and Social Links into whatever order you want.
  3. Save — your public card immediately reflects the new order.
Pair this with the Live Preview panel to see exactly how your reordered card looks before anyone else does.

Live Preview

The Settings page includes a live preview panel of your card that updates in real time as you edit — accent color, bio text, and background all reflect instantly, with no need to save and reload to check your work.

Right next to it is a Copy Profile Link button, so once you're happy with how it looks, you can grab your card's URL in one click.

Splash Screen

The splash screen is the brief animated intro shown when someone opens your card, before it settles into your full layout — a little extra flair to make your link feel more like a reveal than a static page load.

Platform

Activity Feed

The Activity Feed is a real-time stream of what's happening across the crrd.lol platform — card updates, new members joining, profile views hitting milestones, and featured card changes all surface here.

Think of it as your homepage pulse. Instead of refreshing the gallery manually to see what's new, the feed brings the platform to you. You'll see things like:

  • New cards created — when someone logs in and generates their profile card for the first time.
  • Card updates — when a user changes their background, bio, accent color, or layout.
  • View milestones — when a card crosses a notable view count threshold.
  • Featured card changes — when the community spotlight on the landing page rotates.

The activity feed is visible to logged-in users from the Dashboard. It's read-only — you can't post to it directly, but every change you make to your own card will naturally appear in it for others to see.

Activity Feed entries are community-facing. Keeping your card updated and fresh increases your visibility on the platform.
Platform

Server Rep

Server Rep (Server Representative) is a special role and badge that can be assigned to users who officially represent a Discord server in the crrd.lol community. It's not a self-assign — it gets granted by platform staff.

What Server Rep does:

  • Adds a Server Representative badge to your profile card, visible to anyone who visits your link.
  • Unlocks expanded server representation options in Settings — you can link your server invite, add a server description, and pin it to your card.
  • Grants access to server-specific customization fields like a server banner and a pinned server invite button on your card.
  • Shows up in the Gallery with a special indicator, making your card easier to discover for people looking for active community reps.

How to get it: reach out through the crrd.lol Discord server if you manage or represent a community and want to explore a Server Rep arrangement. Staff reviews these on a case-by-case basis.

Server Rep is about real community representation — not follower counts. If you run a genuine Discord server and want to feature it on your card, reach out.
Platform

iOS Compatibility

crrd.lol works on iOS — the full card view, customization settings, gallery, and sharing all load and function correctly in Safari and other iOS browsers.

There are a few iOS-specific behaviors to be aware of:

  • Background music autoplay — iOS Safari blocks audio from autoplaying without a user interaction. If your card has background music set, visitors on iOS will need to tap the card once to start it. This is a browser-level restriction, not something we can override. The fix for this shipped in v1.2 — music now correctly starts on first tap instead of failing silently.
  • GIF backgrounds — GIF card backgrounds play correctly on iOS in Safari. If a GIF appears frozen, try a hard reload (pull down to refresh in Safari).
  • Splash screen — the animated card intro is fully supported on iOS as of v1.2.

If you run into something that looks broken on iOS that works fine on desktop, drop it in the Discord server with your device and iOS version — mobile-specific bugs are high priority for us.

For the best iOS experience, use Safari. Third-party browsers on iOS use the same WebKit engine under the hood, but Safari handles media permissions and animations most cleanly.

Terms of Service

By using crrd.lol, you agree to the following rules and conditions. These apply to every user on the platform — no exceptions. Violating these terms may result in your access being restricted or your account being permanently removed without prior notice.

Use crrd.lol for its intended purpose only. Do not manipulate, exploit, or attempt to abuse the service in any way outside of normal card generation and customization.

Login through Discord OAuth only. Sharing credentials, using bot accounts, or logging in through any unauthorized method is strictly prohibited.

Keep card content appropriate. Offensive, NSFW, or discriminatory content in your card customizations — including bios, backgrounds, usernames, or linked media — is not allowed.

Do not spread false security claims. crrd.lol does not store your Discord token. Any claims suggesting otherwise should be reported to staff immediately.

No impersonation. Using card generation to impersonate another Discord user — including copying their username, avatar, or bio to deceive others — is not allowed.

No automation or scripting. Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to generate cards, interact with the platform, or perform any actions a human user would normally do manually.

No spam or service abuse. Do not overload the service with excessive requests. Repeated or deliberate overuse may result in an automatic or manual ban.

No malicious use of card links. Do not use your crrd.lol card link or any links featured on it for phishing, deception, or any other malicious purpose.

Report violations immediately. If you witness a rule violation or discover a security concern, report it to server administration right away.

Administrators may act without warning. Staff reserve the right to revoke access or permanently ban any user who violates these terms at any time, with or without prior notice.
Data & Privacy
We only collect what we need. crrd.lol stores the minimum data required to run your card — your Discord ID, username, email, and card customization settings. Nothing more. We do not store your Discord password or token at any point.
Liability
crrd.lol is not responsible for issues outside of our control. If something happens to your Discord account, your data, or your card as a result of actions taken outside of crrd.lol — including Discord account bans, username changes made on Discord's side, third-party service outages, or anything else not directly caused by crrd.lol — that is not our fault and we are not liable for it.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data crrd.lol collects, how we use it, and what control you have over it.

What We Collect
We only collect the minimum data needed to run your card. When you log in with Discord, we receive and store: your Discord ID, username, and email address — your email is used solely to confirm that you are a verified, legitimate Discord user and is never displayed publicly or shared. We also store your card customization settings — bio, accent color, background, layout, music, badges, and linked social accounts.
We never store your Discord password, Discord token, or any payment information. crrd.lol is entirely free — no billing data is ever collected.
How We Use Your Data

To generate and display your profile card. Your username, avatar, and card settings are used solely to build and serve your card at crrd.lol/yourusername.

To keep your card in sync. Your Discord username and avatar are refreshed each time you log in so your card stays up to date automatically.

To operate the platform. Basic usage data like join date and view counts help us run features like the leaderboard and activity feed. This data is never sold or shared with third parties.
Third-Party Services

crrd.lol uses Discord OAuth2 for login — your login is handled entirely by Discord and governed by Discord's own privacy policy. If you use the background music feature, tracks are streamed via YouTube; if you pin a Spotify track, that embed is served by Spotify. We do not control the data practices of these third-party services.

Your Rights & Data Control

Delete your data at any time. Head to your Dashboard and hit Delete Account. All stored data — your card, bio, settings, badges, and account info — is permanently and immediately wiped. There is no soft delete or recovery window.

Your card is public by default. Anyone with your card link can view it. If you want to remove your card from public view, delete your account.

Questions or concerns. If you have any questions about your data or this policy, reach out through the crrd.lol Discord server.
